Invitation Letter

My name is Dan Christian, I am working with the Mile High Baptist Assoc., and the Colorado Baptist General Convention. To coordinate an effort to reach the lost at the TASTE OF COLORADO event. This outdoor event is the largest attended unpaid event in our state. This is the THIRD year running for CO Baptists and other believers to engage people with the Good News of Jesus (see results from last years outreach on the web. http://tasteofcoloradooutreach1.blogspot.com/ ).

Planning has begun to work out the details for this outreach. I am sending this email to you as an invitation to join us as we seek to reach people with the Gospel at the annual Taste Of Colorado event. This event is SPECIFICALLY for local churches to be involved in expanding the Kingdom.

Here are the INITIAL Details:

• Our primary focus is 2 pronged, 1) mentor local Christians in sharing their faith,
  2) reaching people with the Gospel. Those who commit to come must work within this focus.
• The actual dates of the event we will be targeting is September 2-5, 2011, and it is called "A Taste Of Colorado".We will have teams going out EVERY Day, all day. Meals should be provided for ALL volunteers during the day. There will be a chance for people to join us at VARIOUS times during the day (you do not need to commit to a full day). • Trainings in Evangelism will be available before the event, via LIVE or Internet for convenience.
